The Bank offers credit on short-term basis for not more than six months through this international credit sales contract. The Bank will take your risk for non-payment of the good and/ or services. These documentary credits are opened at a commission subject to positive credit assessment. BENEFITS · Your business will avoid losses from the risk of non-payment of goods delivered on credit and on the other hand you are covered against the risk of non-delivery of goods. · Your company funds are released for other investments when you buy goods on credit with the bank's guarantee. TO ESTABLISH A LETTERS OF CREDIT AT CRDB BANK YOU NEED TO DO THE FOLLOWING: Fill in an application form that is to be accompanied by ; · A proforma invoice. · Import license and stamp duty affixed in accordance with the requirement of law. · Particulars of the merchandise are set out clearly and briefly on the application form. · A clean report of findings issued by COTECNA or it's authorized agent.
