CRDB Bank organizational structure is made up of the following:

Managing Director
The Managing Director is the chief executive of the Bank and is responsible to the Board of Directors for the execution of the policies of the Bank as laid down by the Board of Directors, and for the day-to-day control and management of the Bank.

Deputy Managing Director
The Deputy Managing Director (DMD) works in partnership with the Managing Director on all issues pertaining to the day-to-day affairs of the Bank. The DMD, who is a DANIDA appointee, is particularly responsible for development activities of the Bank.

Department of Finance and Administration
The department is responsible for accounting, monitoring of budgets, procurement and supplies.

The Department of Finance and Administration is subdivided into the following divisions:

·         Central Clearance

·         Financial Accounting

·         Administration and General Service

Department of Retail Clients and Marketing
The department is overall responsible for delivery of the Bank’s services to customers. It deals with retail customers through the branch network. Marketing, branch operations and customer relations are among its activities. The Department of Retail Clients and Marketing is subdivided into five Divisions:

·         Marketing Division

·         Micro finance Pilot Project

·         Electronic Banking

·         Retail clients and branch operations

·         Insurance Division

Department of Credit
The department is overall responsible for the quality of the Bank loan portfolio by ensuring that loans are issued according to the Bank’s credit policy. It supervises, monitors and reports on the performance of the loans and their repayment. The Department of Credit is subdivided into three divisions

·         Loan Approval and Documentation

·         Loan Supervision

·         Loan Recovery

Department of Internal Audit
Is responsible for all control functions which include:

·        Appraisal of controls, procedures, systems and performance.

·       Review of bank operations

·       Verification of accuracy and reliability of accounting information

·       Fraud investigation.

Treasury Department
The department is, responsible for managing the liquidity of the Bank, managing the reserve requirements of the Bank, trading in treasury bills and bonds, trading in foreign currencies, servicing customers in the investment of surplus liquidity in both foreign and local currencies, international banking services and the development of new financial products.  

Department of International Banking & Institutional Clients
The department is responsible for providing the bank's products and services to high value customers.  It is divided into three units:

·         International Banking

·         Institutional Clients

·         Corporate Clients

Department of Operations
The department is responsible for developing IS strategy, installation, maintenance and support of the Bank’s networks and communication (hardware & software), maintenance of IS standards in the Bank and preparations of Bank’s operations and procedures. The department is subdivided into:

·         Business Support

·         Organization & Methods

·         Data Center

Secretariat Department
Is responsible for corporate secretarial services (to the Management, Board, Committee and Shareholders meetings), legal counsel by drafting documents and contracts and their execution and attending to litigation in which the Bank is a party.

Department of Human Resource
The department is responsible for effective management of human resources including, but not limited to, recruitment, orientation and induction, training and development, compensation and benefits.
