Election of Mr. Martin Jonas Mmari as Chairman of the Board of Directors of CRDB Bank Limited
On Friday July 30, 2004 the Board of Directors of CRDB Bank Limited elected Mr. Martin Jonas Mmari its new Chairman with immediate effect. Mr. Mmari takes over from Mr. Jerry Solomon whose tenure as member and chairman of the Board ended on July 15, 2004.
Prior to his election to the position of Board Chairman, Mr. Mmari served CRDB Bank as a member of the Board of Directors for a period of two years starting June 2001.
In addition to his new position, Mr. Mmari chairs the Branch Advisory Board for CRDB Bank Holland House branch, a position he has been holding since April 2001.
Mr. Mmari Holds an MBA in International Banking and Finance from Birmingham University Business School, UK. He has worked with the Bank of Tanzania as a Bank Examiner for ten years between 1991 and 2000.
Besides his role at CRDB Bank, Mr. Mmari is currently a full time employee of the Parastatal Pensions Fund (PPF), where he is heading the Director of Finance.
The election of Mr. Mmari as Chairman of the Board comes at a blissful moment, when CRDB Bank celebrates the Euromoney Excellence Award for 2004 as the Best Bank in Tanzania, an award conferred upon the Bank in July this year by Euromoney Financial Magazine in London, United Kingdom.

NOTICE OF DISTRIBUTION OF DIVIDENDS TO CRDB BANK LIMITED SHAREHOLDERS

Dear Shareholders,

 Notice is hereby given that the dividend for the year 2003 will be paid to shareholders beginning 1st July, 2004. Payments will be effected as follows:-  

1.      Through shareholders bank accounts with CRDB BANK LIMITED, for shareholders who have instructed to be paid through their accounts. 

2.      By cheques to be mailed to shareholders and can be cashed at any CRDB BANK LIMITED branch. Shareholders may cash the cheques in other banks but at their own costs. 

3.      Through Tanzania Posts Corporation offices where the cheque would be collected.  This mode of payment is for shareholders whose domicile address are at district, ward, village and Zanzibar where there are no CRDB BANK LIMITED branches.  Shareholders may also cash their dividend cheques at any CRDB BANK LIMITED branch.

  • For identification, shareholders are advised to present their share certificate and identity card to facilitate payment of dividends.
  • Shareholders who have not yet collected their 1996, 1998, 2000 and 2001 dividends are reminded to do so at their respective branches.
